Argo COVID-19 Update

2020-03-16 Argo COVID-19 Update:
To All Argo Residents:  Effective March 16, 2020

After learning of cases of coronavirus in the state, the City of Argo will be closing the Senior Citizens Center and will postpone the Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for March 28th.  The City Park will also be closed until further notice.

"We are taking these precautionary measures for safety and the health of our seniors and citizens.  The center will be closed until further notice."

Argo COVID-19 Update

Our senior population is the most vulnerable to this disease and that's why we are closing the center to lower their risk for contracting the virus.

We are urging all of our residents to continue to wash their hands and sanitize.  While we're hoping for the best, we must do what we can to keep everyone safe.

Our responsibility is to ensure the health and safety of our citizens and our employees.  I ask for patience and prayers.  If everyone will work together, we can do our part and try to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you.
